We got this a gift from a family member. It’s totally amazing. So worth it to buy. I would get another one. The string is good that comes with it. I just wish the string was even longer. Kid approved. Kite goes really high.

This is the first kite I have owned that survived more than one crash without requiring repair. In fact, it flew pretty easily and held up well the few times it did hit the ground. It is constructed of a lightweight fabric rather than plastic and was easy to assemble. I should point out that you will want to make a mental note of how it is folded when you first remove it from the package because you will want to return it to its package for storage and transport as it is rather large once assembled. Unfortunately, I did not remember how it was folded and was trying to pack it up while still outdoors with a light wind. I didn't quite get it all the way back in its pouch and will have to repack it later. I really enjoyed flying this kite though, mostly because it performed well and didn't require constant adjustments or repair. I recommend this kite especially if you are new to kite flying.

Cool kite and good value for the money. It's pretty large but can be folded down and disassembled into a manageable size for transporting it. Fun option for a day at the beach and looks cool while in flight.

If you’re looking for a fun family activity, this large bald eagle kite is a must-have! The fiberglass rods are both flexible and sturdy, making it perfect for those windy days. I was impressed by the reinforced stitching; it really holds up against strong gusts. Plus, setup is a breeze—our grandson had it assembled in under 10 minutes (with a little help from grandpa).

The graphics are vibrant and clear, making it look stunning in the sky. Once it's airborne, it’s easy to control and stays up for ages, which our grandson absolutely loves. I am very impressed with this kite. It is very well-constructed. The spar pockets are reinforced and the seams are all secure. It goes together easily and is not hard to disassemble and put back in its storage pouch. The graphics are sharp and attractive. Naturally, we've hardly had any wind since it arrived, so we haven't been able to get much flying in, but it seems to be stable and easy to fly. The only issue I can see is the lack of labels on the spars. I used our label-maker to put tags on them because I am sure at some point we will lose the instructions and forget how to put it together over a winter of disuse.

Had a lot of fun trying this out with my boyfriend the other day. The kite was the perfect size, we were able to actually get it up in the air even though it really wasn't all that windy. It was a little harder keeping it up in the air, but like I said, it wasn't even all that breezy of an afternoon, so I imagine this thing would fly great on a windier day. It crash landed quite a few times, and didn't get banged up whatsoever, so this guy is much more durable than he looks. Was super easy to assemble and to break down, no problems there. All in all, was a lot of fun for an afternoon.

I like that the kite rods are made of fiberglass so they are bendable but sturdy. I really like that this kite is basically a complete kite kit, all in a reusable bag. The ‘kit’ has this outstanding eagle kite, the rods, a handle and the kite string. Everything in a hook and loop closure type bag. Perfect.
